(c) To expedite a comprehensive review of its legislation to ensure compatibility with the provisions of the Convention and to modify or repeal, without delay and within a clear time frame, all remaining discriminatory legislation, including discriminatory provisions in the Personal Status Law and the Nationality Law.

It also recommends that the State party accede to the 1954 Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons and the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness.

The Committee also recommends that the State party accede to the 1961 Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness, the 2006 Council of Europe Convention on the Avoidance of Statelessness in relation to State Succession and the 1997 European Convention on Nationality.
